IFP was assigned by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) to perform FEED and DED for their Palm Methyl Ether (PME) Facility Upgrade project at the Independent Oil Terminal (IOT) in Kuching, Sarawak.
The biodiesel produced at IOT consisted of 7% PME (B7) and 93% Automotive Diesel Oil (ADO). As part of MPOB’s commitment to supporting the Malaysian government’s initiative in promoting palm oil, MPOB intended to upgrade the PME facility at IOT for the production of Biodiesel B30 (30% PME).
