IFP Engineering provides multidiscipline engineering consultancy services for the oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, oleochemical, and general process industries.

Aligned with Industry 4.0 transformation, IFP Engineering has embarked on digital tools to revolutionize Plant Design, which can drastically reduce engineering phase duration particularly for Feasibility Study (FS)/Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and provide accurate project cost estimation for Final Investment Decision (FID).

Ir. Abd Rashid Md Sidek

Director/Chairman
Ir. Abd Rashid earned a Mechanical Engineering Degree from The University of Salford in 1983. His professional journey includes roles at Shell, KBR (formerly Brown & Root) and Technip Energies. Joining Toyo Engineering & Construction in 2000, he ascended to an Executive Director position. His expertise spans Project Management, Engineering Design, Procurement, and Construction Supervision across upstream and downstream sectors. Presently, he serves as the President of the Malaysian Oil, Gas & Energy Engineering Council (MOGEC) and holds the title of Fellow at The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM).

Ir. Dr. Ragunath Bharath

Director/Chief Executive Officer
Ir. Dr. Ragunath earned his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Tohoku University, Japan in 1993 through the Japanese Government Scholarship. He initiated his professional journey as a Process Engineer at Chiyoda Corporation in Yokohama. Returning to Malaysia in 2000, he assumed the role of Principal for Process Engineering at OGP Technical Services, a PETRONAS group company. In 2001, he founded Innovative Fluid Process Sdn Bhd.

Dr. Michael King

Director/Chief Operating Officer
Dr. Michael holds a Doctorate in Civil Engineering from Kobe University, Japan, earned in 1993. Accumulating over 30 years of professional expertise, he has worked extensively in multinational corporations, notably at UEM Builders Bhd, Shimizu Corporation and Surbana International Consultants. Dr. Michael's expertise lies in Project Management, Project Planning, and the Advancement of New Technologies in Construction. Over the course of his career, he has overseen diverse infrastructure projects across the Asian region.
